I love it when it rains, particularly if I have nothing to do, and can just stay home. I pull up a chair by the window, hug my knees, and stare at the world outside. I feel the wind against my face, I listen to the pattering of the rain, and I watch the trees sway. The Mother used to say that when it rains, the Earth takes a shower. And when I see the grass blades glisten, I think it's true. After the rain, it always seems that the Earth has been given a new lease of life. So when it rains, I always try to take the time off to sit down and take stock of my life, to try to sort out my thoughts.
And today, it scares me how they keep returning to you.
